The
methodology used for this Oral History project the interview. Using the
information obtained with this interview we have had to make an essay and
elaborate blog, dividing the information in different and ordered parts:
-Presentation
(of myself, the blog and the project).
-The Topic
and the Objectives (of this work).
-The
Background (of history of the theme we chose).
-The
interview (in audio format).
-Essay and
Conclusions (obtained from the interview).
-Methodology
Review and Critique.
The main
critique I think I can do to this method of work and this project, is that it
needs a lot of time to do it, and that for example, as happened in my own case,
I had clear who I wanted to interview and what to talk about in my work, but to
do it, I had to travel to my hometown to be able to make the interview to the
narrator, my grandmother. It may be also a problem if you have to do it with
busy people, because it may be difficult to find enough time to make properly
the interview, without rushes and with time to think, ask and answer all the
questions estimated for it to the narrator. But the interview is the most basic
way of recording and transmission of information in Oral History, which is the main
theme and the base of this work.
