Topic and Objectives

Paula Quirce, my loved grandma.

To make this work, our teacher Alfonso López asked us for making a Blog about interviews to "old people" about some social topics of the past, as a way of knowing and transmition of knowledge about how something was or used to be in the past.

In my case I have chosen my dear grandma Paula, as my source of inspiration, and as my narrator about THE TOPIC of the past, that is THE BUSINESSWOMAN IN THE 60s AND 70s IN SPAIN, A TOPIC which have TWO MORE TOPICS "INSIDE": 
-THE CREATION OF BUSINESSES BY WOMEN IN THE 60s AND 70S IN SPAIN.
-THE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF BUSINESSES BY WOMEN IN THE 60s AND 70s IN SPAIN.

The reason why I choose this topic is beacuse in Spain, also nowadays, is more difficult for a woman to be a businesswoman, than for a man to be a businessman, so I can imagine the extra difficulty of this in the 60s and 70s, and even more in a little town of the North of Spain.

The main objectives for me making this work are to know:

-To know how has been my grandma's life.

-To know how was for a woman to manage a business in the Spain of the 60s, and also in the 70s.

-To know the biggest difficulties that my grandma had during the 37 years she has managed their two business.
